Step In It
This time of my life is a “Step in it” type of season. You know those seasons where enough is enough. The fear is enough. The hesitancy is enough. The feeling of being stuck and held back is enough. It’s time to go get it. It’s time to walk in it. Time to rise and shine. I’ve felt this urge build up of preparation lately. I’ve felt it at the beginning of this year. You know a knowing that something great, beautiful yet powerful was going to happen in my life. That something was going to come back around again. Something that I thought was lost forever. For years I couldn’t put my finger on it until now. That something is purpose. That something is called life. You’re not merely existing but you know your assignments in this life. You know that God calls the called. You’re going somewhere in life God has given you a glimpse of your future and it’s more than what you dare to dream. God is a BIG God. I’ve had to make the decision to believe Him when He showed me my future. I have no idea actually how He was going to pull this off. Everything about it I wanted very deeply but I was like I don’t know Papa how you’re going to do this. This restoration in my life. I’m talking about dreams, purpose, ministry, love, babies, prosperity, influence. The things and people that are going to come around full circle but I trust in you! Maybe you’re like me God has shown you your future maybe it’s a move, a business, a husband, a wife, a baby you’ve been trying to have, a promotion, a reconciliation of some sort and it’s the most beautiful painting you’ve ever seen yet you have a decision to make. Will you trust in God or will you cower in fear? I say step in it!!
This reminds me of the story of the Israelites and how they didn’t trust God to lead them to their promise land except for only two. In Deuteronomy 1:19-45 we read that God is showing the Israelites a particular set apart land that in the words of God is good. This means the best of the best. This is the crème de la crème of all the earth for His people that He wants to give. God is in the business of giving good gifts to His children. As we continue to read this passage. There are a couple highlights that popped out at me. Verse 20 says, “The Lord God is giving us.” The definition of the word is: to be or to see (present tense). Could the age-old saying be true that seeing is believing? Could it be that the Israelites only had to see it by faith and step in it to receive from God what was already set up for them (verse 21). We also see that God was continually telling them do not be afraid or discouraged to walk in it. He will fight for them and clear the way. They only needed to be obedient. Let me urge you, dear sister. I’m talking to myself don’t allow fear decide your destiny. Papa is setting the stage right now for your hand-crafted promise land. Whatever The Lord has shown you don’t give up. Continue to walk it out, continue to believe, continue to have faith in Jesus when you can’t see a thing. Ask Him to give you the eyes of Heaven. My pastor Christy Johnson of Fearless Church in Los Angeles says “If it ain’t good then God’s not done. He only finishes on GOOD!” Some promises we have to contend for but if God be for us then who dare be against us (Romans 8:31). They had to have faith in God for this plus set their foot with action. I’m in a season where God has shown me future events of my life that is nothing short of good that I’m trusting, relying, leaning, believing in Him for and He has told me “get ready it’s coming”. The season of preparation is vision and action tied up into one every day until it manifests until His appointed time. Partnership is how God brings His plan, gifts, salvation, freedom, deliverance etc. to earth. Do not throw in the towel on your blessing. Step in it. Step in it. Step it. Step in our purpose. Step into your calling. Step in your talents. Step in the Word of God decree and declare it over our life and watch it transform you.
Verse 31 says, and you saw the Lord God carried you in the wilderness like a son all along the way until you reached this place. Remember the word until. Until means up to (the time that). Galatians 4:4 says, “But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son born of a woman born under the law. Ecclesiastes 3:6 says, “There is an appointed time for everything”. Galatians 6:9 says, Lets not become weary in well doing but at the proper time if we do not faint, we will reap a harvest. In Isaiah 60:22 says, “at the appointed time I The Lord will make it happen”. Ladies, your until season will end its just a matter of time. He will make good on His promises just walk. Walk with your head held high. Walk in authority like the queen that you are. Walk until its good!! Get your hope up. Get your faith up. God is faithful. Til next time.
Love, Ashley
