MY HEPHZIBAH

Lights ~ Camera~ Delight

He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time.  He has also planted eternity (a sense of divine purpose) in the human heart (a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy except God) yet man cannot find our (comprehend or grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from beginning to the end.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 Amplified Version

Is it possible that everything is beautiful in its time? In its season? In its sector of time given and ruled by The Creator of the universe? When the Bible says everything does He mean everything? All the good and bad? The things that make us laugh, cry, hurt and pain. Are those things beautiful or are they just appropriate? So many questions that the human mind has wondered and asked about life’s existence since the beginning of time.  Here it is the answer. The beautiful things in this life are simply that beautiful. The things that are appropriate are appropriate.  Both are designed by the best craftsman of running and ruling the space of what we know as time.  The only thing we can’t get back. Priceless treasure. I would like to ask a question. You don’t have to answer it. Just think about it.  Regarding time and seasons of life what is the crucial part of it? I’ll give you a hint. You don’t like it. I don’t like it. We twist and turn about it. Get frustrated easily about it. Okay Okay you may have already guessed it. It’s the art of waiting.  Every good farmer or in my case gardener.  Besides the potting, the planting, making sure the soil is healthy, the fertilizer, the water, appropriate sunlight etc. if you don’t apply patience to the mix, you will not get any kind of harvest.  In our Bible verse today, we won’t see any kind of beauty.   Could it be that in some things we have to wait to see the beauty in? I know God has been talking to me about different things that I will see the beauty in if I would just be patient.   I know there are a lot very beautiful things The Lord wants to give you if there would be a willingness to wait on Him.  I wonder how many things I missed out on because of my impatience to receive or take matters into my own hands. I want to give you and myself a new perspective of this topic pretty sure you heard this before but how about this maybe just maybe God holds such a trust in us that He knows that we are responsible enough to wait it out. That the beauty or beauties are there. God’s promises are there just waiting for you. The job you’ve been applying for, the college acceptance letter, the baby you’ve been praying for or the man of woman you’ve been praying for. God entrusts us that if we just stick with Him, He delights in giving us the beauty which He desires to give us.   But are we willing to wait?  I asked myself Ashley are you willing to wait and trust God with the deepest desires of your heart? The beautiful promises He’s given to you to fulfill in His own timing and way.  I said yes I am. It’s easier said than done but I’m going to get it done. I’m going wait and I’m going to trust in my Lord because I know that He is faithful. When God is in something you best believe that it is going to be beautiful. He will get praise out of it.  So, I would like to encourage you that whatever the Lord has given you a promise (whether in His word or to you personally) just wait for it. Wait for the beauty.  I know it’s hard sometimes but it will be worth seeing God’s glory. Just like the sun has to wait for the moon for it to dawn we have to wait. But have you ever resented a beautiful sunrise or a glorious sunset? I haven’t. God is worth waiting for.

All my love

Ashley
