“A mother cannot live without her child”. The Holy Spirit spoke this in my ear as I was in deep sleep the other afternoon. I had asked Daddy God what He wanted to tell me as I slept and this profound statement touched my soul. Right now I am not a mother physically but I have the heart of a mother and I look very forward to the season where I will have my own. My heart for children is so vast that when I heard of the absolutely devastating news of the new abortion law that had passed in New York my heart broke so much that The Lord would confide in me this. Again I say” A mother cannot live without her child”. I’m in no way of judging people who have gotten abortions in their life but I am expressing what I believe and what God believes about babies.

“Children are a gift from The Lord. Offspring are a reward from Him”.
Psalm 127:3

“He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise The Lord
Psalm 113:9

“May your father and mother rejoice may she who gave you birth be joyful”!
Proverbs 23:25

God blessed them and said to them “ Be fruitful and increase in number fill the earth and subdue it”.
Genesis 1:28

This the heart of the Father about children, family, marriages and homes. If there is someone reading this thinking about abortion can I desperately encourage you and say there are other options to ending your baby’s life. Right now in adoption world there are 36 couples to every 1 baby in the United States. There are a lot of couples who are having difficulty having children and would love to welcome a baby girl or boy into their family. God loves family!! Again no judgment but love and mercy. I believe the best is yet to come for you and for your baby.

I believe this is hitting home for someone reading this. There is life after death. Jesus’s death and resurrection gives us that sure declaration of a promise. God is a god of life. He is life and wants to give life and healing to those who will receive it. He wants to restore the pain to the hurting and free those the devil has put shame. Trust God and He will restore. There’s also another comforting scripture that absolutely love about God. In The book of Isaiah verse 66:9 God says of himself “ I The One who delivers babies”. I absolutely love that!! It’s so beautiful to me. Also God has motherly qualities to His character. He says “ As a mother comforts her child so will I comfort you”. Isaiah 66:13

Whether you’re a man or woman reading this God promises us that whatever we will face in this life we have this that He will comfort us just as a loving mother. How good is God. God The Father sent The Holy Spirit and one of His names is The Mighty Comforter (John 14:26) King James Version. Let Him comfort us in all that we are going through. In Jesus name amen.
